Yes, we do this often.
The reason is twofold:
- We want the client to pay one invoice, not two. They pay one invoice for advertising on Google, and they know that if they don’t pay it, they won’t have advertising. In this case, we use our own accounts, don’t charge setup fees, and it’s a monthly subscription service. It works for many clients. For others, we work with their accounts, they pay on their own, and there is a setup fee.
- The client doesn’t trust their card; “they don’t know about these things,” and they don’t want to provide it or create their account. They prefer us to handle everything and focus on their work.
Of course, in the case where we use our card, we are prepaid at the beginning of the month. It’s a prepay model, and that’s it.
It’s one method, and you can have it as an option in combination with the second method, where we work on the client’s account.
