The QUESTION
I started using Google Ads first time in my life these days, and I followed your steps, but two days already I have no activity on my data, only 1 impression and that’s it.I use pretty much broad type keyword (+) and nothing happens. My ads are running from 7am to 5pm. In Tampa and 50 miles area (radius) But when I go to Ad Preview and Diagnosis Tool, and type in city it give me this as a reason: “Your ad isn’t scheduled to run right now”. When I look at SEARCH KEYWORDS part, it show that is “eligible”
I have to mention that I am from Serbia, but targeting in US. Is it possible that Google use my local time when I targeting in US and maybe mess with time of targeting? If yes, can you help me how to fix this. Is been few days and nothing happens.
The ANSWER
Firstly we recommend you place a bid 2-3 times higher than the proposed methodology via manual CPC. Then when your ads are given their final quality score you can decrease the bids.
Regarding the message “Your ad isn’t scheduled to run right now” keep in mind that your ad scheduling could be set up so that your ads aren’t running at this exact time. This means that if you’re searching at one of the times that they aren’t scheduled to run, you won’t see them.
Google will show you data regarding the location and schedule of your target.
Also, the scheduling of your campaign is based on the timezone of your account, not the targeted location. So maybe there is a mistake also there.
